Saghar condemns ban on Eid Milad-ul-Nabi’s main procession in IIOJK

Islamabad: The Convener of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar, has strongly condemned the decision of Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government to ban the main procession of Eid Milad-ul-Nabi (SAW) from Lal Chowk to Srinagar in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Mehmood Ahmad Saghar in a statement issued in Islamabad said apart from banning the main procession of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) from Lal Chowk by the Modi government, Indian forces personnel raided the residences of Hurriyat leaders, human rights activists, journalists and common people.

He said India is continuously violating the international law in occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He added that the New Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency (SIA) was following a vengeful policy of implicating the Kashmiris in false cases but such tactics could not subdue the freedom sentiment of the Hurriyat leaders and activists.

Mahmood Ahmed Saghar lamented that the Modi regime had used the Indian notorious investigative agencies as a weapon to terrorize the Kashmiris and implicate them in false cases. However, he said that India would never succeed in its nefarious designs and the Kashmiri people would continue their peaceful freedom struggle until they get their inalienable right to self-determination.

He further said registration of false cases against the Kashmiris shows the frustration of the Modi government.
