IED explosion rocks mini secretariat campus in Manipur’s Ukhrul town
Imphal, March 22 (KMS): An improvised explosive device (IED) exploded inside the mini secretariat campus in Ukhrul town in the Indian state of Manipur.
A police official claimed that no casualties or injuries were caused by the blast.
Indian police and paramilitary personnel immediately rushed to the spot and launched an investigation, including a covert operation which is currently underway, the official added.
On the other hand, earlier on Tuesday morning, a police team had safely defused a bomb that was found near the water supply office in the town.
