Hindutva goons assault Muslim students in Gujarat’s Surat college
Surat (Gujarat, India), November 25 (KMS): Hindutva goons physically assaulted three Muslim students in a college in Surat city of the Indian state of Gujarat.
The incident was reported at Bhagwan Mahaveer College in Surat and video footage of the same has gone viral on social media.
In the two-minute twenty-second video, a group of Hindutva goons wearing handkerchiefs as masks can be seen thrashing the Muslim students. The attackers have been identified as the members of Hindu right-wing groups Vishwa Hindu Parishad and the Bajrang Dal.
Meanwhile, the University registrar, Vijay Matawala, told reporters that he too is in possession of the said video clip which would be handed over to the disciplinary committee.
