NC condemns stopping of Omar Abdullah from entering Dak bungalow Drass

Srinagar, November 02 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference (NC) has condemned the authorities’ move of denying the party Vice President, Omar Abdullah, and party functionaries access to the Drass Dak Bungalow and the use of public address system during his visit to the region.

Several NC leaders including Ali Muhammad Sagar, Tanvir Sadiq, Muhammad Akbar Lone, Hasnain Masoodi, Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan and Abdul Rahim Rather strongly condemned the authorities’ action of blocking Omar Abdullah’s visit to Kargil.

The NC leaders said that dissuading the party Vice President from visiting Kargil was done with a sole purpose to hide the failures of Ladakh administration on every conceivable matrix. The entire visit, they said, was focussed on the issues faced by the local population.

The NC leaders said weaponizing administration to curb opposition voices is the newest low the present dispensation in New Delhi has nose-dived to . They added that the Indian government doesn’t want to hear voices critical of its policies and conduct.
