Gowahati, July 10, (KMS) A man was burnt alive as a punishment by a village Kangaroo court in Indian disturbed state of Assam.
The heinous incident came to light only after Assam police launched a search operation to look for the man as he was missing for days in Bor Lalung area of the Nagaon district of the state.
The villagers claimed that the man identified as Ranjit Bordolo was burned alive by the village court and the body was buried later at Nagaon district of the state, however, the police recovered the body.
Some people were detained,” M Das, SDPO told the media men.
