Mushaal Mullick awarded Allama Iqbal National Award
Lahore, November 15 (KMS): Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organisation and wife of jailed Kashmiri Hurriyat leader, Muhammad Yasin Malik, was awarded the Allama Iqbal National Award by Punjab Governor, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar in Lahore.
Mushaal Hussein Mullick was given the award at a ceremony held at the Governor House in Lahore, today, for highlighting the Kashmir cause.
Mushaal Mullick on the occasion thanked the Punjab Governor for awarding her the prestigious award and said that the people of Kashmir would never compromise on Kashmir freedom movement and would continue it till taking it to its logical conclusion.
She said that her husband, Muhammad Yasin Malik, had been languishing in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar jail and suffering from several ailments and demanded her release along with all other illegally detained Hurriyat leaders and activists.
