Srinagar, September 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a 17-year-old girl died and six other family members were injured in a blast in Kupwara district.
The blast took place in a scrap consisting of an unexploded shell and grenade killing 17 years old Shabnum at Tarapora in Handwara area of the district.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir, Vijay Kumar told media that an explosion took place in the house of Ghulam Mohammad Wani in Tarapora area of Handwara, resulting in the death of a minor girl and injuries to six others including family members.
He said that the blast took place in a scrap consisting of an unexploded shell and grenade and investigation is on.
The two critically injured women have been referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment.
