New Delhi, August 13 (KMS): India witnessed a single-day rise of 40,120 coronavirus with 585 new fatalities, as per the Indian Health Ministry data updated on Friday.
The data showed that the new infections took the tally of cases to 321,17,826 while with new fatalities, the death toll climbed to 430,254.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 2.04 per cent. It has been below 3 per cent for the last 19 days. The weekly positivity rate was recorded at 2.13 per cent, according to the health ministry.
