Jammu, July 18 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has demanded restoration of J&K statehood.
The J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP) during an online meeting, today, passed a resolution demanding immediate return of statehood to J&K.
The JKNPP President Prof. Bhim Singh said that the BJP government in India has no plan to reinstate J&K with statehood it enjoyed since 1947.
He said the Panthers Party stands for restoration of statehood of J&K without any delay and then Assembly elections so that a democratic/elected government is constituted in J&K which has been denied to J&K.
He said that this Act of the Parliament converting the J&K into a Union Territory was totally illegal, improper and unconstitutional and, therefore, the residents of J&K have been demanding return of an elected government and return of Statehood.
