Indian police claim seizing mobile phones in Jammu jail

Mobile Phones, Kashmir, PakistanJammu, Jul 15 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Indian police authorities have claimed that at least 10 mobile phones were seized during a major operation carried out in the high security Kotbhalwal jail in Jammu.

17 such devices have been seized in the last 15 days inside the jail premises, of which 10 mobile phones have been seized today only, officials told media men.

Terming the seizure of mobile phones as a serious security concern, the officials said that a high level probe has been initiated in this regard.

Indian paramilitary forces, Jammu police and CID launched a major operation in the high security jail in Kotbhalwal, the officials claimed.

The Kashmir civil society members in a statement expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of prisoners and their safety in Jammu jails.KMS-19R
