Srinagar June 14 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference Chairman Shabbir Ahmed Dar, International Forum for Justice and Human Rights Chairman Mohammad Ahsan Untoo and Hurriyat leader Mohammad Ramzan, today, visited the residences of recently martyred Manzoor Ahmed and Bashir Ahmed at Maharajpora in Sopore to express solidarity with the bereaved families.
According to Kashmir Media Service, on the occasion, the victim families told the delegation that that Manzoor and Bashir were picked up from their shops and then shot to death by forces’ personnel in custody. The families further informed that their dear ones were taken in forces’ vehicles and were shot dead outside CRPF camp located near Sopore Chowk.
They demanded a fair probe by an international team so that the killers are identified and punished accordingly. The families have rejected the government version.
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) in a statement said the killing was a heinous war crime for which all kinds of sanctions should be imposed against India. The DFP said that lamented that the majority of the officers in the police have the poisonous attitude towards the Kashmiri people. They are at war with Kashmiri people.
