Pakistan conveys India strong demarche on Aug 5 illegal actions in IIOJK
Islamabad, August 06 (KMS): Chargé d’Affaires of the Indian High Commission was called to the Foreign Office to register Pakistan’s unequivocal rejection of India’s illegal and unilateral actions since 5 August 2019 in the Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry in a statement said the Chargé d’Affaires was reminded of Pakistan’s consistent stance that the Government of India must reverse its illegal and unilateral actions and immediately lift its inhuman military siege in occupied territory.
He also demanded of India to stop illegal measures to change the demographic structure of IIOJK and cease extra-judicial killings of Kashmiris in fake encounters.
The Spokesperson called for the release the illegally detained Kashmiri youth and political leadership and withdrawal of over 900,000 Indian occupational troops from the territory.
