Srinagar, May 19 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the President of Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman Shari Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has said that settlement of the Kashmir dispute is possible through the implementation of the relevant UN resolutions.

Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi addressing a party meeting in Badgam said, “The solution of the Kashmir dispute lies in dialogue and both India and Pakistan should sit on table to resolve this long pending issue.” He said that India had been using all tactics to suppress the Kashmiris’ ongoing freedom movement. He also paid rich tributes to those who attained martyrdom since July 8, last year, till date and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.

“During the meeting, besides other issues the current Kashmir situation was discussed threadbare. During the meeting, it was resolved that party will carry forward its political as well as religious mission,” a statement issued by Anjuman Shari Shian said.

It was reiterated that the party believed that Kashmir is a dispute that needs to be resolved as per the aspirations of the Kashmiri people, the statement said. The participants condemned the puppet authorities for using brute force against the students and said that the forces’ action would have serious repercussions, it added.
