Srinagar, August 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, people staged massive anti-India demonstrations, today, while Indian forces’ personnel used brute force on the demonstrators, injuring many of them.

Call for the demonstrations was given by the joint resistance leadership comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik to protest against the surge in killings and raids by India’s National Investigation Agency on the residences of Hurriyat leaders. »

Srinagar, August 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troop, in their fresh act of state terrorism, martyred two more Kashmiri youth in Islamabad district.

The troops killed the youth during a violent crackdown operation at Kanelwan in Bijbehara area of the district. One of the martyred youth was identified as Yawar Nisar. »

Srinagar, August 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) has denounced the continued illegal detention of its Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, and other Hurriyat leaders and activists.

JKLF leader, Noor Muhammad Kalwal, in a statement issued in Srinagar said that putting innocents in jails under concocted charges, denying them fair trial and justice for years and thus ruining their careers and lives had been a common feature in the territory. »

Islamabad, August 04 (KMS): The Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Azad Jammu and Kashmir chapter, today, organized a protest demonstration outside National Press Club, Islamabad, against the increasing human rights violations including arrests, harassments and crackdowns in occupied Kashmir by Indian forces.

Addressing the protesters, the speakers condemned the recent killing spree particularly in Srinagar, Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian, Budgam, Baramulla, Bandipora and Kupwara by Indian forces and said that killings and arrest could not suppress the Kashmiris’ freedom sentiment. »

Srinagar, August 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, has castigated the authorities for resorting to arrests, raids, killings, house arrests, ransacking, curfew and restrictions across the territory.

Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi addressing a public gathering in Budgam, today, said that it had become a routine for Indian troops to kill civilians in every nook and corners of the occupied territory. »

Srinagar, August 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the family of APHC General Secretary, Shabbir Ahmad Shah has said that India’s Enforcement Directorate is humiliating and harassing him in Delhi.

Dr Bilquees Shah, the wife of Shabbir Ahmad Shah, presently in Delhi told reporters in Srinagar over phone that her husband was being brought alone to the court like a criminal despite the fact that he was still an accused but not the guilty as the court was yet to complete its proceedings and announce the final judgment. »

New Delhi, August 04 (KMS): A Delhi court has extended the remand of illegally detained four Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders in the custody of Indian National Investigation Agency (NIA) by 10 more days.

The NIA had arrested seven pro-freedom leaders, Altaf Ahmed Shah, Ayaz Akbar, Peer Saifullah, Merajuddin Kalwal, Shahid-ul-Islam and Nayeem Ahmed Khan from Srinagar and Farooq Ahmad Dar from New Delhi on June 24 in false cases registered against them. »

Srinagar, August 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, the Hurriyat forum led by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has urged India to take sincere steps for settlement of the Kashmir dispute for ensuring permanent peace in the region.

The forum spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said, it is an irony that a human and political issue is being dealt through military might while ignoring the actual reality of the issue. He strongly condemned the stubborn approach adopted by New Delhi on the dispute and the reign of terror unleashed by Indian forces across the occupied territory. “The use of brute force may cause hurdles in achieving the final goal but it can’t suppress the genuine sentiment in the territory,” he said. »

Srinagar, August 04 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed in Shopian and Kulgam districts against the killing of civilians who were shot dead by Indian forces during anti-India demonstrations in last few days.

All shops and business establishments are closed while as traffic is off the roads in Shopian and Kulgam districts. »
