Srinagar: A protest demonstration was held in Poonch district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir against the anti-people policies of the occupation regime.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the protest was held at Pathanatir in Mendhar area of the district.
The protesters said that the village has no water supply for the last one month. This prompted them to take out the protest demonstration against the administration, they added.
The protesters including Daler Khan, Tariq Manhas and others said that linemen of Water Supply Department are not deployed on duty due to which people are not able to get water supply. As a result, the women have to walk many miles to get water for the household needs and for their cattle.
