Jammu: Glowing tributes were paid to two leaders, Hanif Kalas and Ram Kumar, who passed away a couple of days ago in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Hanif Kalas, was associated with the ongoing Kashmir freedom movement since a long time and made several sacrifices for the Kashmir cause. Ram Kumar was a noted trade unionist who always fought for the rights of employees and other sections of society.
Paying tributes to the deceased leaders, the speakers at a function in Jammu said that the role played by these leaders would always be remembered by the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. They said these leaders were the fearless and loud voices in the occupied territory.
Hanif Kalas, the Chairman of Pir Panjal Peace Foundation, passed away on November 14 while Ram Kumar died a day earlier.
Those who spoke on the Occasion included ID Khajuria, Advocate Jameel Kazmi, Mir Shahid Saleem, Rakesh Kumar, Balkar Singh and Ramesh Kumar.
