APHC-AJK holds prayer meeting in Islamabad
Islamabad: All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter held a prayer meeting chaired by its Convener Mehmood Ahmad Saghar in Islamabad, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the participants of the meeting expressed profound grief and sorrow over the death of Hurriyat leader and Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Pir Panjal Peace Foundation Muhammad Hanif Kalis.
Paying glowing tributes to the deceased Hurriyat leader, they said that Hanif Kalis was a very sincere worker of the Kashmir freedom movement, endured imprisonment in Indian jails several times and remained with the freedom movement until the last day.
They also prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
Muhammad Farooq Rahmani, Chaudhry Shaheen Iqbal, Muhammad Hussain Khateeb, Sheikh Muhammad Yaqoob, Parvez Ahmed Advocate, Imtiaz Wani, Javed Iqbal, Haji Sultan Butt, Engineer Mahmood, Raja Khadim Hussain, Gulshan Ahmed, Zahid Ashraf, Syed Mushtaq, Manzoor Ahmed, Sheikh Abdul Majeed, Mohammad Shafi Dar, Abdul Majeed Lone, Mehmood Qureshi, Mushtaq Ahmed Mir, Malik Aslam, Qazi Imran, Abdul Ghani Lone, Zahid Fazal, Imtiaz Butt and Ataullah participated in the prayer meeting.
