Jammu’s martyrs provide great courage to Kashmir’s freedom movement: Ali Raza Syed
Brussels: The Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU), Ali Raza Syed has said that the martyrs of Jammu provided great courage and support to the freedom movement of Jammu and Kashmir.
Ali Raza Syed in a statement issued from Brussels on the occasion of Jammu Martyrdom Day (6th November 1947) said Kashmiri martyrs rendered their lives for the great cause of Kashmir.
He said, over seven and half decades history of Jammu and Kashmir is full of sacrifices, especially people of occupied Kashmir are still paying a huge price to freedom struggle for liberation of their homeland from Indian occupation. There is a less comparative example of genocide of the people of Jammu and Kashmir by the Indian forces, he said, adding martyrs of Jammu and Kashmir have very important role in the freedom movement.
The Chairman of Kashmir Council said, “We shall continue to raise our voice against the constant atrocities committed by brutal Indian forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOK).
He urged the international community, including the United Nations and European Union, to take serious notice of the severe situation of human rights in Jammu and Kashmir.
Calling the essential role of the world community for just resolution of Kashmiri issue he said, a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute is crucial for peace and prosperity of the South Asian region.
