Jammu: The President of occupied Jammu and Kashmir chapter of Indian National Congress, Vikar Rasool Wani, has said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wants to crush every voice of dissent but will be wiped out due to its authoritarian style of governance and anti-people policies.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Vikar Rasool Wani addressing a massive Congress rally at Katra in Jammu hit out at the `gag orders’ against the government employees, and said a series of such attempts are made to crush every democratic voice to hide its failures.
He said the days of BJP in power are numbered because it has started challenging the power of common people. The fear of losing power has forced BJP to delay assembly and defer Urban Local Bodies (ULB) and Panchayat elections, indefinitely but one day it will have to face the public and hold elections and BJP will be wiped out in the territory, he claimed.
Congress leader Manoj Yadav said BJP has abolished democracy in Jammu and Kashmir and Congress is fighting for its restoration along with snatched status of statehood.
The working president, Raman Bhalla, lashed out at the BJP’s anti-youth, anti-people, anti-poor and anti-employees mindset and said people will pay them back in the same coin.
