Pro-Khalistan graffiti appears in Dharamsala ahead of ICC World Cup matches
Dharamsala: Ahead of ICC World Cup matches in Dharamsala city in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, Sikh activists painted a government office with ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ graffiti.
According to Kashmir Media Service, after spotting the graffiti some locals informed the police who started investigating the matter.
Similar graffiti was found on the outer walls of Vidhan Sabha (State Legislative Assembly) complex in Dharamsala a few months ago. At that time, the US-based Khalistani leader, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, had claimed responsibility for the act.
The Kangra police had later arrested two youth from Morinda city in Rupnagar District of the Indian state of Punjab for creating the graffiti.
It is to be mentioned here that the ICC World Cup is commencing in India on tomorrow (Thursday).
