Indian forces continue CASOs in IIOJK
Srinagar: Indian forces continued their violent Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) and house raids in different areas of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
According to Kashmir Media Service, Indian troops continued the massive cordon and search operation on the 3rd day, today, in Saidpora Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A top official told the media that the CASO was launched on Wednesday late afternoon after receiving an input about the movement of mujahideen in the area.
Notably, Baramulla district has witnessed a surge in search operations and naka checking has been intensified over the past few months which has added to the miseries of the Kashmiri people.
Meanwhile, the Indian troops, paramilitary personnel, Indian National Investigation Agency and Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency also continued harassment during their cordon and search operations and house raids in different areas of Srinagar, Bandipore, Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian, Kishtwar, Rajouri, Poonch, Kathua and Reasi districts.
