Mob sets BJP office on fire in Manipur
Imphal: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office was set on fire by a mob in violence-hit Manipur state of India.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office was set on fire by the angry mob in Thoubal district of the state.
The mob also destroyed the office gate, shattered windows, and damaged a vehicle parked within the premises.
As per information, students staged protest demonstrations in Imphal and Bishnupur on the same day. Protesters resorted to burning tyres and blocking the Indo-Myanmar highway using wooden logs and unused electric poles.
The Indian forces fired bullets, teargas shells and mock bombs on protesters.
