Islamabad: Pakistan Caretaker Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Jamal Shah, has said that Kashmir and Palestine are two glaring examples of ruthless exploitation by the developed world.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Jamal Shah while addressing the 12th Conference of Culture Ministers of Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) in Doha stressed the need of promoting the arts and crafts of the Kashmiri and Palestinian artists as an expression of solidarity with them.
He urged the ICESCO to create special opportunities for their tradition-bearers, craftsmen, musicians, writers and film makers where they can showcase their works with Islamic countries.
The Minister proposed a cultural Caravan of Tradition-bearers of all member states be organized which embarks upon a tour of member states.
He also suggested the creation of Islamic Cultural Monuments in capital of every member state.
