After water, coal and mineral resources, now lithium reserves of IIOJK on sale: Kamal
Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Additional General Secretary in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, has said that the Narendra Modi-led Indian government has put the lithium reserves of Jammu on sale after leasing out the water, coal mining and mineral resources to non-locals.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Mustafa Kamal was interacting with party leaders and functionaries in Srinagar. He said the Modi government does not care about the feelings, sentiments and aspirations of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He expressed concern over the increase in the problems and difficulties of the people of the territory.
Meanwhile, President of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mehbooba Mufti, in a post on social media platform X said that after water and mineral resources, the Lithium reserves will be exploited and gifted to BJP’s crony captalists. She said we must seek accountability on the share Jammu and Kashmir will receive.
