Jammu: New Delhi-controlled State Investigation Agency (SIA) carried out a raids at the residence of of pro-freedom youth in Jammu, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a team of SIA searched the house of the youth, Mohammad Iqbal, in the Peer Bagh area of Bathindi in Jammu.
The SIA claimed to have discovered and seized ‘significant evidence’ during the raid. The sleuths confiscated one mobile phone, two SIM cards and some other documents. They said that Iqbal is an overground worker of mujahideen, a charge that all Indian forces level against Kashmiri youth to justify their arrest.
Meanwhile, body of a Special Police Officer Khaliq Hussain was discovered near the Kankote area of in Poonch early Tuesday morning, and officials suspect that he may have been killed in a road accident.
