Pakistan FM thanks Azerbaijan for its continued support to Pakistan on Kashmir dispute
New York: Pakistan Caretaker Foreign Minister, Jalil Abbas Jilani, has thanked Azerbaijan for its consistent support to Pakistan on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Jalil Abbas Jilani held a meeting with his Azerbaijan counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, on the sidelines of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
He briefed the Azerbaijani counterpart about the grave situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), marked by gross violations of human rights, illegal attempts to change the demographic structure of the occupied territory, and intensification of ceasefire violations by the Indian side on the Line of Control threatening peace and security.
He thanked Azerbaijan for its consistent and valuable support to Pakistan on the Jammu and Kashmir dispute at various international fora, including at the OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir.
