Anti-India demo, rally in Muzaffarabad
Muzaffarabad: A massive protest demonstration was held in Muzaffarabad, today, against the Indian brutalities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
A large number of people participated in the protest organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir. Waving black flags, the protestors chanted slogans against India and in favour of Kashmir’s freedom from Indian illegal occupation.
Addressing the protesters, the speakers including Pasban-e-Hurriyat Chairman Uzair Ahmed Ghazali, All Parties Hurriyat Conference leader Imtiaz Wani, Pakistan Peoples Party leader Shaukat Javed Mir, Vice Chairman of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Usman Ali Hashim, Social leader Dr Muhammad Manzoor, Muhammad Aslam Inglabani, Raja Zameer Hussain, Faisal Farooq and Muhammad Fayyaz Khan condemned the surge in the Indian state terrorism in IIOJK.
They said that since August 05, 2019, the Narendra Modi-led Indian government has taken away all the basic human, social, political and religious rights of the people of the occupied territory. The protestors appealed to the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the European Union to force India to rescind its illegal actions of August 05, 2019 and give the Kashmiris their right to self-determination.
Later, the protestors marched from Lal Chowk Upper Adda to CMH Road and shouted anti-India slogans.
