Goons chase scientist with swords in Bengaluru, damage his car
Bengaluru: A scientist was attacked and threatened by goons in Bengaluru, the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka.
Ashutosh Singh, a scientist at the Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS), was attacked by goons on the road and was threatened with swords in Bengaluru city.
Ashutosh Singh shared his ordeal on X (formerly Twitter) and sought justice.
As per his account, he was trailed by four assailants on motorcycles for several kilometers, subjected to threats, and then his car’s windshield and rear glass were shattered using swords at 12:45am on Ravuthanahalli Road in northwestern Bengaluru on August 24. He posted a picture of his damaged car. Ashutosh said that he was traumatized by the delayed police response. He urged swift action from the police.
