Indian soldier commits suicide in Bhatinda

Bathinda (Punjab), April 13 (KMS): An Indian Army man committed suicide, today, in Bathinda city of the Indian state of Punjab.

The Indian Army said that a soldier shot himself with his service weapon while on sentry duty at the Bathinda Military Station.

“The weapon and cartridge case from the same weapon was found next to the soldier. He was immediately evacuated to the Military Hospital but succumbed to his injuries,” the Army said.

It is to mention here that four Indian soldiers were killed in a firing incident at the same military station on Wednesday.
