Police officer involved in drug peddling arrested in Doda
Jammu March 25 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, police have arrested a police officer involved in drug peddling in Doda district of Jammu region.
Police officials said that a Special Police Officer (SPO), involved in drug trade, has been arrested from Doda town.
The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of Doda, Abdul Qayyum, said that it was learnt that SPO, Javed Ahmed, belonging to Hamdanpura Doda, was involved in drug trafficking. He said that during the search, narcotics were recovered from his possession.
The SSP said that the accused was working as a Special Police Officer and was currently posted in District Police Lines, Doda.
He said a case has been registered in Doda police station and investigation has been started.
