Amritsar, March 22 (KMS): Indian police raided the house of pro-Khalistan Sikh leader Amritpal Singh in Punjab, India, and questioned his wife regarding the activities of her husband.
Senior police officials headed by DSP Harkrishan Singh on Wednesday raided the the native village of Amritpal Singh in Jallupur Kherato.
The police questioned his wife, a UK national, on the charge of garnering funds from foreign shores for his hisband’s activities and organisation ‘Waris Punjab De’.
Earlier, a woman DSP-rank official also visited his house and questioned his wife and other family members.
Meanwhile, the Punjab Police issued a lookout circular (LOC) and non-bailable warrant (NBW) against ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief Amritpal Singh.
