Two Indian CRPF commandos injured in Chhattisgarh attack

Raipur March 10 (KMS): Two commandos of the Indian CRPF’s Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) were critically injured in an attack in Sukma district of in Indian disturbed state of Chhattisgarh.

Sukma Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma talking to the media said, “A joint team of the Special Task Force and Commando Battalion for Resolute Action of the CRPF had launched the operation from Dabbamarka camp towards Sakler when the exchange of fire took place.”

He said the commandos, identified as Inspector Munesh Kumar Meena of CoBRA’s 202nd battalion and constable Amit Modak of CoBRA’s 208th battalion, were injured in a clash with the Naxal guerrillas.

Indian police claimed that at least half a dozen Naxal guerrillas were also injured in the clash with the Indian forces.

The Indian military operation was going on in several areas of Sukma district.
