Muzaffarabad, February 11 (KMS): A Jammu and Kashmir Martyrs rally was held on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of prominent Kashmiri leader, Muhammad Maqbool Butt in Muzaffarabad, today.
The rally was organized under the auspices of the students’ wing of Tehreek-e-Shabab-ul-Muslimin Jammu and Kashmir.
A torch bearer rally was held at Burhan Wani Chowk in Muzaffarabad to pay tribute to Maqbool Butt on his martyrdom anniversary. The Chairman of students wing Riaz Ahmed Awan, Vice Chairman Munir Kunshi, General Secretary Zameer Durrani, Chief Organizer Faiz. Allah Durrani, senior leader Naseer Mir, Broadcasting Secretary Shahid Iqbal Awan, Deputy Broadcasting Secretary Asif Durrani, Media Advisor Arshad Awan, Social Media Advisor Imtiaz Awan, Abrar Mir, Atif Mir and Faizan, Ishtiaq Liaqat Awan led the rally.
Addressing the rally, the speakers said that Maqbool Ahmed Butt gave his life but did not accept India’s slavery. They said Shaheed Muhammad Maqbool Butt was determined to make every sacrifice to continue the mission of Shaheed Butt.
The participants of the rally raised slogans in favour of Pakistan and against India in the rally.
