Islamabad, February 08 (KMs): Muhammad Afzal Guru , who was hanged by India in Tihard jail on 9th February, 2013, for his spirit and determination for the freedom movement of Jammu and Kashmir was a true patriot, whom Kashmiri’s will never forget, says Muhammad Farooq Rehmani, Chairman, J&K People’s Freedom League and former APHC-AJK Convener, on Guru’s 10th martyrdom anniversary.
He said that his hanging and burying in the premises of the Tihar jail, is believed to be a judicial murder as the apex court of India left no doubts, when it confirmed the death sentence by announcement to please the collective conscience of Indians. It was certainly a fallacious and fabricated judgment to crush the freedom movement and ultimately the Indian highest judiciary encouraged fascism and paved the way for granting power to the ultra-Hindu Fascists of the country.
He stated that the coming events in Kashmir testified aggressive occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by the racist Singh pariwar of India. However, he noted that Kashmir will never accept India’s hegemony in any form whatsoever. He said that the Kashmiri leaders and all other freedom fighters or the common people of Jammu and Kashmir had not accepted Indian brutal fascist Hindutva regime nor the laws that had affected the historical status of the occupied territory.
Muhammad Farooq Rehmani called upon the United Nations to invoke necessary clauses of the UN Charter and come to the rescue of the besieged and caged inhabitants of the disputed without further delay, as there were other political leaders in India’s notorious prisons, upon whom the Modi regime wanted to perpetuate, and test again revengeful harm according to her own farcical doctrine and concocted stories.
