Srinagar, Srinagar 07 (KMS): Protest demonstrations were held in Srinagar and other parts of the territory against the ongoing eviction campaign and other anti-Kashmiris’ policies being advanced by the occupation regime.

Protests were held in Srinagar, Handwara, Islamabad, Shopian, Banihal, Poonch, Jammu and other areas of the territory.

Scores of people assembled in Maisuma area of Srinagar and strongly protested against the attempts by the Modi regime to rob the Kashmiris of their lands on one pretext or another to settle their outsiders there.

Carrying placards, the protesters assembled at the Maisuma market and raised slogans like “Let us live peacefully” and “India don’t become Israel” to register their anger against the eviction drive.

The participants of the protests deplored that only poor people are being targeted while the rich and influential people are totally ignored. The protesters warned that if the Modi regime did not reconsider its eviction drive, it would have serious consequences.
