Srinagar, February 02 (KMS): Senior leader of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar, has deplored that Narendra Modi-led fascist Indian government is hell bent to uproot the Muslims and settle Hindu fanatics in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir to change the demography of the territory.
Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar in a statement issued in Srinagar said the Modi regime since abrogating the special status of IIOJK on August 05, 2019 is taking one step after another to snatch the identity, culture and land of Kashmiris and impose its devilish Hindutva ideology on them.
He pointed out that the latest move to grab the land of the Kashmiri people and destroy their homes in the garb of so-called anti-encroachment drive is yet another ploy to evict the Kashmiris and deprive them of their land and resources.
Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar said the sealing of APHC office is yet another wicked attempt to intimidate the Kashmiris. “APHC represents the aspirations of the people and confiscation of building will only solidify the resolve of freedom loving Kashmiris and bring more shame to India,” he added.
The APHC leader said sinister designs to usurp and conquer Kashmir through use of brute force and conspiracies have miserably failed and Kashmiris have frustrated the intentions of RSS and forced them to lick the dust. He said the latest eviction drive, destruction of properties and sealing of APHC headquarter in Srinagar reflect the frustration of Hindutva forces in India.
Ghulam Ahmed Gulzar thanked Pakistan for its unwavering support to the Kashmiris’ just struggle for securing their right to self-determination. He said Pakistan is benefactor of Kashmiris as it has been consistently advocating the Kashmir cause at all international forums since 1947. He said the Kashmir Solidarity Day which Pakistan has been observing every year to renew the pledge is a morale booster for the oppressed people of IIOJK.
He condemned the recent terrorist attack in Peshawar and said such dastardly acts are sponsored and financed by India to weaken Pakistan. He also prayed for the martyrs of the blast and expressed sympathy with the bereaved families.
Meanwhile, APHC-AJK chapter leader, Muhammad Sultan Butt in a statement issued in Islamabad strongly condemned the attaching of APHC head office, eviction drive, destruction of properties and other oppressive methods being applied by Modi regime in IIOJK. He expressed gratitude to Pakistan for its continued support to the Kashmiris’ freedom struggle. He hoped that Pakistan will expedite its efforts to highlight the Kashmir dispute at the international level.
