Srinagar, February 01 (KMS): Senior Kashmiri politician and leader of Awami National Conference, Muzaffar Shah, while strongly condemning the authorities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir for bulldozing structures and grabbing land during the so-called anti-encroachment drives has warned of disastrous consequences of such moves.
Senior ANC leader Muzaffar Shah, Tuesday, reacted strongly to the 'state land' eviction drive being carried out at Srinagar's M.A. Road.
Shah called the eviction drive a disaster and demanded that a bulldozer be sent to Governor's house, instead.

Muzaffar Shah in a video which has gone viral can be heard saying that the eviction drives are being justified in various names, but the IIOJK administration will not spare anyone. “It is highly unfortunate that such drives are being conducted. This will have highly dangerous consequences,” he warned.
Standing in front of bulldozers in Srinagar’s M.A road, he called the authorities to remove the Governor House in Kashmir, which he said was built on ‘state land’.
Reportedly, on Tuesday afternoon, the revenue officials along with IIOJK police personnel reached Hotel Nedous at M.A road claiming that the same was encroached on “state land”. However, Muzaffar Shah came out holding the papers, which he said were the property documents and stood in front of the bulldozers.
Muzaffar Shah said the Hotel Nedous was built in the year 1835 and the land is in possession of the third generation of the builders of the Neoudous Hotel.
