IIOJK’s Sopore bank prohibits entry with Pheran

Srinagar, January 07 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a bank in Sopore area of Baramulla district has prohibited the entry of people with pherans.

In a circular, which has gone viral on social media platforms, the bank branch has asked people with Pherans not to enter the bank premises.

“Persons with Pheran are not allowed to enter inside the office/hall. For security reasons,” it reads.

It is to be mentioned that Pheran is a traditional dress of Kashmiris which they wear especially in winter to avoid cold.
