Dozens of Indian BSF personnel injured in Nagaland road mishap
New Delhi, January 07 (KMS): Over three dozen troops of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) were injured in a road accident in the Indian state of Nagaland.
A Zunheboto bound bus carrying 41 personnel of 62 BSF Battalion deployed for election duty met with an accident along the Wokha-Mokokchung road near Doyang river in the state.
The bus reportedly fell 60-feet down a gorge and was stuck between the trees resulting in the injuries to the soldiers, who were admitted to Wokha District Hospital, a BSF officer said.
As per the officer, majority of the personnel suffered minor injuries while few were left critical. The critical patients were airlifted to Guwahati for further medical assistance.
