IIOJK’s higher reaches receive fresh snowfall
Srinagar, December 09 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, upper reaches of the Kashmir Valley and Leh area of Ladakh region received light snowfall, today.
According to Kashmir Media Service, an official of local meteorological department said that there was already a forecast for light snowfall of 1-2 inches in the plains of the Kashmir Valley and around 10 inches over upper reaches during the December 9 evening to 10 December.
He said that Gulmarg received 0.6cm of snowfall and Leh 0.5cm. There are reports of snowfall from Sonamarg and some upper reaches of the Valley, he added.
