Anti-Brahmin slogans on walls of JNU campus
New Delhi, December 03 (KMS): A Delhi lawyer has complained to the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest) over anti-Brahmin slogans on the walls of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus. He requested that an FIR be registered against unknown persons.
Social activist and Supreme Court advocate Vineet Jindal said slogans against Banis and Brahmins were written on the walls of the school of International Studies II building on the university campus.
Several Brahmin professors, including Nalin Kumar Mahapatra, Parvesh Kumar and Vandana Mishra, were inscribed on the walls of their chambers, saying Brahmin. “We are coming to deal with you”. “We will take revenge on you”. “Brahmin ‘Leave the campus’ ‘Leave India’ now the blood will be wasted “Go back to the branch”.
Meanwhile, the university authorities have ordered an inquiry.
