Yasin Malik appears in court through videoconferencing in false case
Jammu, November 24 (KMS): Illegally detained Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik, appeared before a special court in Jammu via videoconferencing, today, and cross-examined a witness in a false case registered against him over thirty three years ago.
Yasin Malik, who is lodged in New Delhi’s infamous Tihar Jail, in a fake case registered against him, was not produced in the court physically due to an order of Indian Ministry of Home Affairs restricting his movement.
It is worth mentioning here that Malik has already moved a petition seeking his physical appearance in the court to cross-examine the witnesses. However, Indian government is opposing his demand by citing various excuses.
Yasin Malik was arrested by India’s notorious National Investigation Agency (NIA) in early 2019 in false cases. He was sentenced to life imprisonment by a special court of NIA in May this year.
