Kargil, November 17 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a massive protest erupted in Drass area of Kargil, today, against the authorities’ failure to set up a fire station in the area. Notably, a massive fire broke out at a prominent mosque in the area the other day, damaging most of the structure.

Qadeem Hanfia Jamia Masjid’ was gutted in a fire incident late Wednesday evening. Locals said that the fire could have been doused in time if there would have been any fire station in the Sub-Division, Drass.

A large population of Drass hit the road on Thursday morning and demanded that a fire station should be established in the area. The protesters said that authorities didn’t learn any lesson from the past fire incidents and ignored the repeated requests of people.
