Indian Army Colonel killed by speeding car in Meghalaya

Shillong, India, November 17 (KMS): An Indian Army Colonel was hit and killed by a speedy car in the Indian state of Meghalaya.

Indian Defence PRO of Guwahati in a statement said colonel Ramesh Rathore of 12 Armed Regt, posted as Col A HQ 101 Area Shillong, was hit by the speedy car while he was walking to his office in Shillong and later succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

Meanwhile, three people were killed in an explosion in a drug manufacturing unit at Gouripatnam in East Godavari district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
