BJP, RSS deceiving backward Muslims: Mayawati
Lucknow, November 17 (KMS): The President of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Mayawati has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are deceiving backward Muslims after they organised a conference for members of the community.
Mayawati in a tweet said the BJP and the RSS’ concern for Pasmanda Muslims is now a “new deceit” as their outlook towards the community is well known.
The BJP organised a conference, attended by backward Muslims, last week ahead of the by-elections to the Assembly constituency in Rampur.
“The result of the BJP’s negative outlook towards the Muslim community is that even under their government, they are still as poor, backward and distressed as they were during the Congress rule,” Mayawati said in another tweet.
The BJP is holding meeting in Muslim-majority areas of the UP state in the coming days to trap Muslim community with their political gimmick.
