Welcome ceremony held for Raja Najabat Hussain in Islamabad

Islamabad, November 15 (KMS): A welcome ceremony was held in honour of Raja Najabat Hussain, the founding Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Self Determination Movement International, on getting the Sitara-e-Pakistan award from the Government of Pakistan for his contribution to highlight the Kashmiris’ struggle for freedom in the western world, especially in the United Kingdom.

Raja Najabat Hussain along with Lin Songtian, Khalid Mehmood and Cahit Yasar Eren was given the award by President Dr Arif Alvi on the occasion of 75th diamond jubilee anniversary of the country.

The ceremony was held in Islamabad to hail the services of Raja Najabat Hussain for the Kashmir cause.

Besides Raja Najabat Hussain, Minister for Housing Azad Kashmir Raja Yasir Sultan, APHC-AJK General Secretary Sheikh Abdul Mateen, Imtiaz Wani and other political and social personalities participated in the programme.

Speakers on the occasion extended greetings to Raja Najabat Hussain on getting the prestigious award from the Government of Pakistan, and expressed the hope that he would continue to play his role in highlighting the Indian atrocities in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir in his host country.
