US citizen goes missing in Himachal Pradesh

Dharamsala, November 15 (KMS): A US tourist citizen has gone missing in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

The US citizen, Macmillan Anderson, 30, was staying in a hotel in Naddi city and had messaged the hotel owners on November 8 that he had got stuck in the mountains in Dhauladhar area of the state.

Anderson used to go trekking in the mountains daily, said the Kangra SP Khushal Sharma adding that he messaged the hotel owners on November 8 that he had got stuck in the mountains and was running low on food.

However, according to the people involved in the search operation, chances of Anderson surviving after almost a week of going missing were bleak.
