Woman injured in landmine explosion in Baramulla

Srinagar, November 04 (KMS): In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a woman was injured, today, in a landmine explosion in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Officials said that the 32-year-old woman, Saleema Begum, was collecting woods from nearby forest in Chrunda area of Uri when she stepped on a landmine planted by the Indian Army that exploded. They said that the landmine exploded with a bang, causing injury to the woman in her left foot.

They said that she was imitated shifted to sub-divisional hospital Uri for treatment where from she was later shifted to Government Medical College Baramulla for further treatment.
