Washington, November 01 (KMS): A video is making rounds on social media which shows how Elon Musk, the owner of American communications company, Twitter, and famous business magnate and investor, fired Indian origin CEO Parag Agrawal along with two other top officials including legal head Vijaya Gadde from key Twitter posts.
Twitter CEO Parag Agarwal’s decade-long association with the micro-blogging company ended with Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover in the last week of October.
Along with Agrawal, another Indian origin Twitter’s legal head Vijaya Gadde was also terminated by Musk. The third one who was terminated in a single day was CFO Nel Segal.
The video shows Vijaya Gadde confessing that “I do think we have failed in a couple of ways and I want to admit that…”
Yesterday it was an honor to meet with Prime Minister @narendramodi and today I’m blessed to spend time with my grandmother. My trip to India is complete! Can’t wait for my next visit… #IncredibleIndia pic.twitter.com/GOBvnVaZEX

She hadn’t completed her sentence when Elon Musk intervened to punctuate: “Failure comes with a big penalty….you are fired.”
On this, she could hardly seen saying “I…” and left the room. Born in 1974 to a Telugu family, Gadde had moved to the United States at the age of three.
Mr. Elon Musk just bought Twitter for $44 billion. He took over the other day and appointed himself as the interim CEO, while firing the top three c-suite executives, the same day, including the Twitter CEO, Mr. Parag Agrawal.
One of the three top persons fired, is this lady, Vijaya Gadde, who was working as Twitter’s general counsel and head of legal, policy, and trust.
It is NEVER good to see someone being fired. Mr. Elon Musk fired her live and online. He was too blunt. Perhaps, at his level, he can afford it. But it is also a fact that instead of being neutral, Ms. Vijaya Gadde, implemented censorships, based on her personal grudges, ethnic and religious ideologies. She never said it, but her actions proved that she was anti-Pakistan, as all anti-Pakistan Twitter accounts used to get ‘authentication of being genuine’ very quickly (within a few days of being created) as against normal Twitter accounts.
Vijaya Gadde was also responsible for blocking Mr. Donald Trump’s Twitter account (with 100 million+ followers), when he needed it the most, after losing elections. Mr. Trump never violated any of the Twitter rules.
