OIC reiterates its solidarity with Kashmiris on Kashmir Black Day
Jeddah, October 27 (KMS): The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has reiterated its complete solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their just struggle for securing their right to self-determination.
The OIC General Secretariat in a statement issued in Jeddah on the Kashmir Black Day, today, urged India to halt and reverse the illegal and unilateral actions taken on August 5, 2019.
The Muslim world body also called for the reversal of the subsequent Indian steps to change the internationally recognized disputed status of Jammu and Kashmir and to alter the demographic structure of the occupied territory. It demanded of India to respect the basic human rights of the Kashmiri people.

The OIC also reiterated its call on the word community to step up its efforts to resolve the long-pending Kashmir dispute in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and Kashmiris’ aspirations.
